Seaford Open Day - Congratulations to all athletes who particiapted in our Open Day. We had a great day with the weather being very kind to us - up until the very last events.,

Please nominate Seaford Little Athletics at the counter or ask them for a card to use assigned to us, then 1% of your purchase total at Ritchies will be forwarded to us monthly - a great way to keep registration fees down SMR & VLAA INFO The Junior Development Squad (JDS) is a program aimed at giving our talented athletes a little more in terms of coaching, education, competition and a sense of accomplishment. Athletes must qualify for the squad by achieving athletic results that better a set performance criteria. The squad is open to all registered athletes from U/12 to U/15 that meet the performance criteria. Ranging from mid October to late August, the program consists of numerous activities including coaching days, alternate coaching sessions, coaching camp, education sessions, role model sessions with elite athletes and a presentation ceremony. 2009/10 JDS OVERVIEW, QUALIFYING STANDARDS AND APPLICATION FORM HERE! VLAA HISTORY Bayswater Bullets Little Athletics Club, one of eleven clubs within the Knox Little Athletics Centre was successful in being granted a Local History Grant by the State Public Records Office Victoria in November 2006 for their 40th Anniversary during the 2008/09 season.. Part of this project was to discover the early Little Athletics history by interviewing those who were there at the time during the mid 1960's in Geelong and obtaining early Little Athletics records. Although not complete, we have listed it here for those interested in the origins of our sport, and the hurdles that had to be overcome during those formative years.
